Supplementary Information Forms for admission to Reception in September 2018 must be returned to the school by the 15th January 2018.

Welcome

We are delighted that you have chosen to view our website.

We are a happy school community where everyone is supportive of one another. In our school, staff, parents, pupils and IEB work together to provide an environment in which each child can develop their potential as a whole person.

As a Catholic School, we give our commitment to Christ’s teaching through the Mission Statement which, along with our Vision, underpins everything we do. Therefore, our children are taught to respect themselves and others, to be kind, thoughtful and caring.

We are committed to providing the very best academic, creative and sporting opportunities possible for each child. We have a firm belief in the importance of numeracy and literacy skills and also believe that learning should be fun and practical. Our children have many opportunities to go on educational visits and to use the local environment.

Before starting school, our new Reception Class pupils have an induction programme where they are invited to come to school and get to know their new classroom environment and the staff who will be looking after them. They also have the chance to meet their Year 6 "Buddy” who will be assigned to them as a special friend for their Reception year. "Buddies” read and play with their Reception friend in school and also accompany them to church. They provide friendship and a familiar face to rely on as well as acting as a role-model. It is a job our Year 6 pupils are proud to do and thoroughly enjoy!

Prospective parents and children are very welcome to visit our school and see our community in action. We look forward to welcoming you.
