Well done Year 2 for making it to the end of another Lockdown learning week. You have been amazing and I am sure, like me, you are looking forward to being back at school on Monday!

In honour of England making it to the European football championship final, I am including a few football based activities today. Follow this link to some mindfulness colouring posters.

Phonics and English - Complete the activities for 'ch' saying 'k'. English this week follows the story of the 'unlucky man'. Today you will make inferences based on what is said and done. There is also a football themed wordsearch.

Maths - Our topic this week is numbers to 1000 and today you will apply what you have learned about 3 digit numbers. 

Reading -  The boy and the rainbow - read the text and answer the questions. 

PE - Choose an activity from the given list or you may like to practise your own football skills alongside Jamie and Arlo by following the link.

RE - Continuing with our theme of God's treasures, watch the 'Creation' story video clip and draw your thoughts in the bubble. I would love to put these up on our display!

Friday 5th March 2021

Finally, the last day of remote learning before school on Monday. Please don't feel you have to complete the work set for today as it's more important for the children to be fully rested for Monday. Feel free to have a day outside or crafting or even watching movies! I will put the work up just in case.
