Some of the children at the school have extremely serious nut allergies. Please make sure that your child does not bring nuts into school and check cake ingredients and other items for nuts or nut traces, whether home-made or shop bought. Opening Times
School Gate Opens 8:40am
Infants Home Time 3:15pm
Juniors Home Time 3:20pm Details of the daily school sessions are available by clicking here Community Safety
The school works in partnership with our Police Community Support Officers (PCSO's) Amir Nasir (left) and Julia Hutchison (right). Amir and Julia will be on duty outside the school periodically and will help out inside too, working with the children and teaching staff. -- Inconsiderate Drivers Beware!
PCSOs and traffic wardens will be on the lookout for drivers flaunting the rules on parking, especially on the zig-zags outside the school.
The double yellow lines and zig-zags are on the road for a reason.
Parking on them risks lives as neither motorist nor pedestrian can see clearly.
This is particularly important at junctions where a clear view of what is around the corner is essential.
Please drive with care and observe both speed and parking restrictions when dropping off and collecting your children.
Parents and carers are warned that the zig-zag lines now carry a fixed penalty and inconsiderate motorists can be issued with on-the-spot fines if caught stopping or parking on the zig-zags.
*IMPORTANT WARNING* It is illegal to park adjacent to a drop kerb crossing. That is a crossing where the kerb has been lowered for pedestrians and has the stippled pavement.
It is confusing because there are no yellow lines painted but the fact remains, that a number of parents have been given a parking ticket for this offence at the top of Magdalen Road.
This particular drop kerb is not immediately obvious and is frequently occupied by cars during busy pickup times from the school and is a favourite spot for traffic wardens. |
